Thermochromic Films

              Thermochromic film is a sheet material printed with a thermochromic liquid crystal ink. The film is normally black but changes colours through the visible spectrum to a bright green/blue when heated to a temperature above 27°C. As the material cools, the reflected colours will be observed in the reverse order. Applications of this film include thermometers and temperature warnings, body jewellery and advertising displays.
